Privacy policy

1. Who is the data controller

PekeGames ([CONTROLLER DETAILS: legal name, tax ID and address]) is the controller responsible for processing the personal data collected through pekegames.app and our applications. Contact: privacidad@pekegames.app.

2. What data we process

• Account: email, nickname (nick), language, encrypted password and, if you choose to provide it, date of birth.
• Game: scores, achievements, progress, matches and virtual currencies.
• Social: friendships, invitations and challenges within the platform.
• Technical: IP address (security and usage limits) and anonymous browsing events generated by our own analytics system (no third-party trackers or advertising cookies).
• Notifications: device token if you enable push notifications.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Providing the service (account, matches, rankings): performance of the contract.
• Security, cheating and abuse prevention: legitimate interest.
• Our own anonymous analytics to improve the portal: legitimate interest, with data minimization.
• Marketing communications: only with your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Never requested from minors.

4. Minors 🧒

PekeGames is a platform designed for family audiences and applies the principle of privacy by default:

• Registration requires being at least 13 years old.
• If the age is not on record, we treat the account as belonging to a minor: no marketing communications or personalized advertising.
• We do not show behavioral advertising to minors and we limit analytics to aggregated data.
• In public rankings only the chosen nickname appears, never real data.
• Parents/guardians can request access to or deletion of their child's account by writing to privacidad@pekegames.app.

5. How long we keep the data

While the account is active. You can delete your account from your profile (Privacy → Delete account); the data is erased or anonymized, except for what we must keep by legal obligation.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell data. We only use the infrastructure providers necessary to operate (hosting in the EU and push notification delivery services from your device's manufacturer when you enable them).

7. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to privacidad@pekegames.app. You can also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (in Spain, the AEPD).

8. Cookies and local storage

We use only essential technical storage (logged-in session, preferences and an anonymous identifier for our own analytics). We do not use advertising or third-party cookies.
