Psalms Chapter 131

These 150 prayers were used by the Hebrews to express their relationship with God. They cover the whole field of human emotions, from joy to hate, from hope to despair.

American King James Version

131 : 1 Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

131 : 2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

131 : 3 Let Israel hope in the LORD from now on and for ever.
